Fresh Air Venues
As we move to more in-person events, and also move towards warmer weather, we’ve been thinking a lot about this equation: Fresh Air = Safety!
The Synchronicity team has come up with a wonderful list of event venues that provide open air feelings and excellent air circulation without the additional cost of a tent rental! We’d love to help you produce your next event at one of these great local venues. You can learn more about a few of them below and we’ve included an additional list at the bottom for you to check out, too!
Block 41
The first stop on our virtual venue tour is Block 41 in Belltown! This former ice factory offers two floors of high ceilings and plenty of urban loft-y architectural charm. On the top floor, a set of french doors as well as a large roll-up door open onto a sweet landscaped courtyard. The space is versatile with enough space to seat 250 for dinner.
Things to know:
A new elevator in this old building simplifies accessibility planning.
The doors and courtyard face 2nd Avenue, so some street noise may carry into the space.
Fisher Pavilion at Seattle Center
Next, we’ll head over to Seattle Center to check out Fisher Pavilion. This space features five (yes, 5!) large glass garage-style doors that open to provide even better views of the South Fountain Lawn and the International Fountain.
Things to know:
The glass wall and doors face North, providing plenty of beautiful indirect sunlight.
At full capacity there is room to seat 550 guests at round tables.
Renton Pavilion Events Center
Renton Pavilion Events Center is a former car dealership located in downtown Renton. Modern and versatile and similar to Fisher Pavilion, the focal point of this venue is a large wall of windows with several garage style doors that provide ample air flow to the space. The garage doors open directly onto a lovely paved courtyard area in a city park, which can be easily rented from the City of Renton to add graceful outdoor space for your event.
Things to know:
There is terrific public transit access, plus a parking garage across the street from the venue providing free self-parking for guests
The venue is managed by Rain City Catering, a Black-owned business, making this a great option for those who want to be intentional about expressing their social justice values as they spend their event budget.
And the list goes on … have fun exploring!
