Live Performances

Worried that live performances are too risky for your live event? Or too expensive and “not worth the fuss”? We’d like to assure you that this isn’t the case! Skilled performers, when part of a carefully crafted stage program, will capture your audience’s imagination and bring your event’s story to life like nothing else.

Our expertise allows us to weave artists into your event plan, providing benefits vastly more important than “entertainment”. If you are curious about how art can drive the emotions behind your event, help tell your story, and create a space that aligns with your values and intentions – let’s talk!

Indulge us while we share some sweet photos that highlight just a few of our favorite live performance moments from 2022 …

True Loves performed during the cocktail hour, and then returned after the fundraising program to play a full set. Guests really got to enjoy a full benefit concert as the sun set and the moon rose.

DNDA, as always, highlighted several of their partner artists in different ways through their event. In this case, the aerialist was in “ambient” mode, accompanied by low-key music, as guests enjoyed food, drink and conversation during the first hour of the event.

Morning Star opened the ACRS Fall Gala with a wonderful performance of Korean music and dance. Photo Credit - Alex Martin

ACRS made great use of performance to celebrate an Asian cultural arts group AND to focus the audience. The Morning Star ensemble began drumming far away in the building and processed through the space, drawing everyone to the stage, allowing the host to begin the show with the full attention of the guests.

This was one of several mainstage performances during Shunpike’s event. Massive Monkees brought their singular joy and high energy during the main program and helped us tell one part of the story of how Shunpike engages with artists across the city.

For Landesa, we love to feature performers with cultural ties to the countries where the organization does land rights work. Gansango began the evening with an ambient greeting set near the door to welcome guests, and a few minutes later they did a mainstage takeover with a dancing and drumming performance that began the stage program with exuberant energy.

The Cornish College of the Arts Gala features all alumni (and some current students). Jimmie Herrod and his band were just one of many showstoppers, and Jimmie also spent some time on the mic testifying to his Cornish experience and what it means to support the school.
