A Celebration Like No Other
Event Fresh Seattle: on December 3, 2024 we hosted the third edition of this amazing gathering. It’s a networking event. It’s a celebration of community and intentionality. It’s a vibe! If you haven’t experienced Event Fresh Seattle yet, we’re about to let you in on this city’s best kept secret.
Imagine a party thrown by event professionals. Small business owners in the events industry, who represent diverse identities and communities, hosting a showcase to introduce their clients and contacts TO EACH OTHER to build community, foster collaboration, and drive business. A magical winter evening, where Seattleites come in from the cold rainy night to experience the warmth of true hospitality, driven by the joy of human connection and the sparkle of true professional excellence.
It’s truly a joy to be a part of an effort where small businesses join forces to showcase their superpowers and elevate each other. Hosts Sadie Schnitzler of DIWAS Photography, Jake Taylor of Functions And Gatherings, and Alex Martin of Synchronicity Events curated all elements of the party.
Around the main level, guests wandered and sampled food and drink by Madres Kitchen, Party on the Rocks/Toast and Taste, and Street Treats. We were immersed in beauty, with live plant installations by Analog Floral, arrangements by Bivins Events and Nadira Design, and gorgeous linens and lounge furniture by CORT Party Rental - all lit up in fun colors by the team at Bellevue Lighting. In one corner, Reckless Abandon Tarot gave personal readings, while in another, guests pulled magical fortunes from the Functions and Gatherings fortune dispensing machine. Up near the main entrance, Synchronicity hosted a hands-on collaborative art project.
Up in the balcony, it was an absolute banger of a party all night, with DJ Beaux of Magnolia Rhapsody, the Craft Lab station providing hands-on fun, Sweet Art Cotton Candy artists at work, The Elite Collective showcasing their video tech magic, the glitter bar by Yossi Face Art … and let’s not forget the epic photo portrait experience by Dress Up Box.
On stage, we saw TYMIRA roller skating duo, Todo Es Jazz duo, emcee Sasha Summer Cousineau, and a grand finale disco number by Splinter Dance Company!

Splinter Dance Company warmed up the dance floor.
LD Techniques brought the audio magic and Word Picture Ink provided our graphic design, while Posh Pet Sitter showcased their unique pets-at-events business.
And of course, our generous hosts 206 Zulu provided the stunning historic venue, Washington Hall!
But the most important element at Event Fresh Seattle is the human interaction. Watching our industry friends, creative friends and client friends meet each other is, truly, the biggest part of the joy.
